Jayme Ferguson, The owner of The Travelling Beauty Bar, formerly known as The Travelling Lash Artist, is a Sheridan Alumni and has been an Aesthetician & Cosmetologist since 2010, and an Eyelash Technician  since 2013. 

However, her journey of doing beauty services started well before that. She always loved painting nails and doing nail art, so at a young age Jayme decided to do manicures and pedicures for little girls birthday parties!

Then in 2010, it was decided she was going to go to Sheridan College straight out of high school to pursue her career as an Aesthetician and Cosmetologist. She Graduated from Sheridan Colleges Esthetics program in 2012 and Sheridan Colleges Cosmetic Techniques and Management program in 2014.  

In 2013, she was lucky enough to have a boss who encouraged her to go and do an Eyelash Extension Course with Misencil, a high end company based out of Quebec. From that moment on, her passion for Eyelash Extensions became quite strong. She was doing Eyelash Extensions almost everyday, all day, and loved every minute of it. Because of this, her technique, speed with precision, is flawless.

Giving her clients that hour or so to themselves of relaxation (sleep), great conversation, and then seeing the happiness once their treatments are completed, brings Jayme so much joy and fulfillment. 

There are many reasons to why she chose to travel to her clients, but the main reason was to make it easier on her clientele.. Stay at home moms, people who work from home, people who don't have much time on their hands to travel to their treatments and back home again. She wanted to cut out the hassle of the clients travelling to her and focus on the clients needs, and travel to them!

Now, Jayme did change her business name to 'The Travelling Beauty Bar' from 'The Travelling Lash Artist' because she had clients who were looking to do more than just lashes with her. They wanted their hair trimmed, bangs, manicures, pedicures, henna brows, etc.. So, she decided to expand her service menu to accompany her clients' needs!
